Beliefs

We are a multicultural and multiracial congregation of worshipers that are warm, friendly and welcoming of all.

We are community-oriented; we provide food distribution, street feeding, evangelism outreach and we partner with local schools.

Our desire is to be a church that helps you find and develop your talents and use them in serving others, provide discipleship and relationships to help counter life’s problems with support and encouragement, and offer opportunities to reach out and impact our community.

Our Beliefs

  • We believe the Scriptures, both Old and New Testaments, to be the inspired Word of God.

    2 Timothy 3:16-17, 2 Peter 1:20-21, Matthew 5:18

  • We believe in one God, Creator of all things, who is infinitely perfect and eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit. We believe these three are equal in divine perfection.

    2 Corinthians 13:14, Hebrews 1:3, 1 Corinthians 8:6, Matthew 28:19

  • We believe in God the Father, who is true holiness, eternal power, infinite love, absolute truth.

    Genesis 1:1, Leviticus 19:2, Romans 1:20, 1 John 4:8-9, Romans 3:26,Titus 1:2,Exodus 3:14

  • We believe in Jesus Christ, true God and true Man, who was conceived of the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary. He died on the cross as the sacrifice for our sins according to the scriptures. Furthermore, He arose bodily from the dead and ascended into heaven, where at the right hand of God He is now our advocate and High Priest, and in the person of the Holy Spirit, indwells the believer.

    Isaiah 7:14; Matthew 1:18-25; 1 Corinthians 15:1-58; Hebrews 7:25; John 1:3-14; Romans 3:24-25; 1 Peter 2:21-25

  • We believe in the Holy Spirit whose ministry it is to glorify the Lord Jesus Christ and to convict, regenerate, seal, indwell, guide, instruct and empower believers for life and service.

    1 Corinthians 12:12-14; Ephesians 1:13-14; John 16:8-13; Romans 8:9; Titus 3:5; Ephesians 5:18; 1 John 2:20-27

  • We believe that man was created in the image of God, chose to sin and became, therefore, spiritually dead. Only through regeneration by the Holy Spirit can man obtain salvation and spiritual life.

    Genesis 1:26-27; 1 Corinthians 15:21-22; Romans 3:9-23; Ephesians 2:9-23; John 3:36

  • We believe that the shed blood of Jesus Christ and His resurrection provide the only grounds for the justification, sanctification, and glorification of those who believe and that all who receive Jesus Christ are born of the Holy Spirit and become children of God.

    Ephesians 1:3-14, 2:4-10; Titus 3:4-8, Titus 2:14; John 1:12-13, John 3:16-36, John 5:24; Romans 5:9-10, 8:1; John 3:3; 1 John 5:10-14

  • We believe that water baptism and the Lord’s Supper are commanded by our Lord Jesus and should be observed by the church. This church shall practice believers’ baptism by immersion.

  • We believe that the true church is composed of everyone who has been regenerated by the Holy Spirit through saving faith in Jesus Christ, who is its Lord and Head; and that God has called His church to worship Him, to disciple believers, and to proclaim the Gospel to all the world

    Acts 2:41-42; Romans 12:5; Ephesians 1:22-23; Ephesians 3:21; Ephesians 4:11-13; Ephesians 5:23-24; 1 Corinthians 12:12-14; 2 Corinthians 11:2; Acts 14:27

  • We believe that it is appointed unto man once to die, and after this death, judgment will occur. We also believe in the bodily resurrection of the dead, of the believer to everlasting blessedness and joy with the Lord, and of the unbeliever to judgment and eternal separation from God.
